At CoFi, we’re on a mission to vastly improve the payment experience for medical procedures for surgical practices, facilities, and patients alike. Founded by a results-driven team of domain experts, backed by payments-focused VCs, Angels, and surgeon KOLs, CoFi is solving well-articulated and high-impact, yet unaddressed problems for premium medical practices, through our SAAS payments offering. CoFi’s initial focus has been in ophthalmology. Over 300 eye care practices have joined the CoFi platform in just our first seven months since launch and we are just getting started. We are building a talented team that can take us from this early traction and adoption growth, to becoming a standard tool for surgical practices. Please note: We are headquartered in Metro West Boston but this role can be remote. Responsibilities * Understand and participate in the various project development stages from inception to release * Work daily in an Agile environment with other engineers, product owners, and stakeholders * Produce clean, readable, structured code that is easily maintainable and provides desired functionality, and that adheres to fundamental principles of Software Design * Communicate project progress effectively to both technical and non-technical peers and Management * Contribute in a constructive manner to Peer Reviews and Paired-Programing projects * Produce technical Software Design documentation for projects, clearly setting out options and providing justification and proposed solutions. * Ability to work as part of a team to come to a common solution for challenges presented * Perform testing/debugging of software applications Requirements * 5 or more years of experience in software engineering or related field * Strong organizational and project management skills * Strong in best practices of software engineering, architecture, infrastructure, database design * Proficiency with or ability to adapt to Ruby on Rails (proficient with similar language/framework) * Experience with AWS * Proficiency in API design, REST * Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages, JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Ember, etc.) * Proficiency with Postgres or similar relational database * Experience writing unit and integration tests * Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where projects and tasks can change rapidly * Strong communication skills (proactively communicate plans, delays, concerns, and successes to the team; ask questions; constructively raise issues) * A positive orientation toward work and task execution; an athlete’s belief in teams and winning together; a friendly disposition Benefits: * Competitive salary * Early-stage stock options * Healthcare reimbursement policy * 401(k) matching program * Flexible time off policy CoFi is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment. We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.) The QA role will play an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you. What you'll do: The Customer and Partner Success team at CoFi is responsible for the efficient onboarding of CoFi customers and the successful recruitment and onboarding of their partners to the CoFi platform. The group plays a pivotal role in driving adoption and utilization of CoFi. We are seeking a Sales and Onboarding Manager to join us in what is an exciting time for our business. In this role you will be responsible for accelerating time-to-adoption deliver excellence in customer satisfaction. * Manage the post-sale onboarding and account-readiness process for CoFi’s customers * Conduct remote training sessions with users * Present (demo) the product to partners of CoFi’s customers, and manage those engagements from demo to follow-up to close, and manage the subsequent onboarding process. * Respond to user questions and requests. * Provide insights to customers to ensure that they get the most out of the platform and applications with the aim of helping grow our customer base. * Share customer needs and desires with the product, marketing, and sales teams as a means of assisting in the development of customer engagement processes and tools. * Be able to wear many “hats”; communicate and coordinate processes cross-functionally on a regular basis that will help meet targets. * Some travel – to conferences or key customers – may be required (subject to the current COVID-19 pandemic).
